About The Chef
Chef Shawn Ross' passion for food began when he started cooking with his Grandfather at his restaurant in Las Vegas. He discovered his true talent for cooking throughout his teenage years, and eventually moved on to the corporate chef life, where he worked for Clubcorp and opened the food program for Chechesse Creek Club. During his time at Chechesse, his interest in wine skyrocketed after he was invited to the Roaring Fork Club in Basalt Colorado where he met the Wine Makers from Morgan Winery, Domaine Serene, etc. He did so well with Chechesse, that he was asked to start new food programs for other private clubs. In 2007, Shawn had the pleasure of meeting the Reilley Family, and they came together to create R&R Catering, which has thrived ever since. Shawn's love of pairing wine and food have culminated over the years, resulting in exquisite pairings that are sure to please! In the words of Chef Shawn, "both wine and food should be a star at my table".
